This week I had the honor to interpret for Davi Kopenawa Yanomami, Brazil's renown indigenous rights leader. He spoke before a panel on climate change at Harvard University's Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies and called on all of us to help him protect the Amazon and the unique riches it brings to the planet and its inhabitants. The event was live-streamed and recorded, with yours truly interpreting into English first from a Yanomami-Portuguese relay and then directly from Portuguese.
